Kia Ora, Our home Whare Rakau (tree house) is surrounded by beautiful rainforest and native trees. Just a 7minute walk or short drive to the bars, restaurants, the hot pools and the glacier building.

We are a young couple, Simon is English and Takoha is Maori. We have travelled round New Zealand but came back to Franz Josef after we missed the rain forest and the west coast. We want to host to show people what a beautiful place it is. We are a relaxed couple and are happy to have people around and spend time with us, however if you want your own space we are happy with that.
