Only 20 minutes from Locarno, this stunning 19th century villa provides the perfect location to get away from it all with like-minded backpackers. Enjoy the great views of Italy from the shade of a palm tree on our beautiful lawn. Fantastic hiking and swimming opportunities abound! Free public transportation throughout Ticino is included in the price, lasting until midnight of check-out date!

The entire valley is simply stunning, and it was to be the heart of Switzerland's second ever national park. Unfortunately the park project was rejected by less than 100 votes, but the park exists anyway in all but name! Views from the hostel are unforgettable.
