Cozy but modern luxury apartment for beach resort holiday located just off the famous Beach Park, perfect for group and family holidays or the weekend getaway. Situated right next to the beach walking through the resort. The apartment comes fully equipped with all modern amenities (fully equipped kitchen, air-con in every bedroom, etc). The common area is free to use for all guests and includes a 9-hole golf course, tennis and soccer courts, several swimming pools and many more items...

The space
Our ground-floor apartment is fully equipped for comfort stay with air conditioners, wardrobes and desks as well as en-suite bathrooms for all the bedrooms. The kitchen is also fully equipped with gas cooker and oven, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, coffee machine, mixer and of course a fridge and a full set of cutlery, plates, glasses, mugs, and pots and pans.

In the living room we have installed a projector with sound system for large screen viewing and a 32" and an additional 28" TV for local TV channels in two of the three bedrooms. Of course the apartment also has free WiFi and Android TV/Chromecast/Amazon fire for casting Youtube, Netflix or any other compatible app.

Finally, the terrace is worth a special note. It sports a gas barbecue as well as a a large extra table for 8-10 people to comfortably eat, an extra outdoor sofa and of course the obligatory Brazilian hammock ;) It is equipped with full length glass windows that can be fully retrieved while sunny, but protect the terrace during rain. The terrace only receives direct sunlight in the early morning and lies comfortably in the shadows for the rest of the day. It looks directly onto the second golf ground in the resort. Of course you also have direct access from the terrace onto the garden and the green.

Porto das Dunas, Ceará, Brazil

Porto das Dunas is known to be the beach town of choice for Fortalezians. With a new fast access road access via Praia do Futuro now reachable in 30 minutes from Downtown Fortaleza it sports the famous Beach Park, Latin Americas biggest water park and numerous beach "huts" (the so called "barracas da praia").

Within a few kilometres you can find a number of agreeable restaurants, our favorite is the "Alecrim" on the state access highway (CE-025) into Porto das Dunas. The most complete local super supermarket is the "Mercadinho São Luiz" in front of the Alphaville further down that same state highway.

Along the beach are numerous excellent spots for kite surfing (and there are lagoons for beginners) and the apartment makes for a good base to explore the kite surfing locations of the Cearan beaches from Cumbuco to Porto das Dunas itself and further down the coast until Canoa Quebrada.

Other nearby attractions include the Praia de Futuro (10km) with its numerous beach huts that attend all preferences from lounging to electronic beats (Orbita Blue, Guardaria Brasil or Sunrise) to the classic northeastern Brazilian forro music (Croco Beach) or just simply serve the much needed ice cold beer with a beach front view (Brazilian beer is served at -2° Celsius). An interesting spot for lunch or in the evening is also the now famous Colosso located in the no-mans-land between the beach and the city. During the day you might catch one of the wakeboard competitions done on the local lake while eating lunch or sipping away on an afternoon drink. At night there are frequent events ranging from electronic music parties to Samba concerts (on Sundays).

For other night live options we recommend going into town. Fortaleza today is an extremely modern and international city with numerous bars, drinking spots and discos for every taste.

I have been living in Brazil for 5 years with my family.

I have always loved travelling and have indeed already travelled to quite a few places. Always loved Australia, but haven't been there in 10 years :( Brazil is the fourth long term country I live in so you could call me a polyglot I dare say.

I'm somewhat detail oriented so I hope this makes for a great rental for you. I am naturally outgoing so please feel free to communicate with me when you are in the apartment and I'm sure we'll solve anything on your mind, although I am likely not in Fortaleza when you will be there.

As a guest, I tend to select nicely decorated apartments, even if the space is smaller. I am very flexible with things but I do care about the details of my airbnb rentals as a guest. So far my experiences as a guest on airbnb were amazing which is why we thought we should give back the great experiences we made and advertise our beach house as well.
