Where you’ll be

Comporta, Setúbal, Portugal

The natural, cultural and architectural patrimony of the area is unique, combining perfect beaches and a flat countryside in a Mediterranean climate. Here is the Natural Reserve of the Sado Estuary, the Tróia Peninsula (a 17 km long beach), the Grândola’s saw (with 325 m altitude and 20 km long) that make this special place, welcoming diverse species of flora and fauna and valuing the ecological and landscape. It’s classified as Natural Ecological Reserve.
The region also harbors a Roman archaeological site that dates back to the Ist century DC and from where salted fish was produced and distributed
throughout the whole Empire.
