From the cabin you have a nice view towards the downhills, and here you are getting the afternoon sun aswell. You are close to shops, afterskies, restaurants and bars in the downhills area.
Cross country skiing is also nearby where you can go all the way into Groenndalen, or the other direction all the way up to Lykkja.
In the summertime you have rollerski area close by aswell as river for fishing activities.
