I'm glad you're interested in Sardinia. Even though I grew up in Switzerland, I now feel exactly as at home here as north of the Alps. Surprisingly in Sardinia, I decided to spend my time on the island a few years ago. I like their gracious residents, their wonderful landscapes and fight daily with the temptation of local cuisine.

Besides sailing, the Argentine tango is my passion. I like to try riding the waves or go to Cagliari to dance. I especially liked the somewhat remote Trattoria's with its authentic Sardinian cuisine. Shopping at the markets and cooking with friends, attending a jazz concert, picking olives in the fall and squeezing oil from it or looking for mushrooms in the woods can be just as much as a visit to the new city library of Cagliari.

I used to travel a lot. Whether it's for work or for leisure. Meanwhile, I appreciate the tranquility and the grounded people here more than the hustle and bustle of airports and tourist hotspots. The island and its people are important to me and so I am happy if you are interested. I am happy to help the island, its culture and its wonderful inhabitants get closer. You can also find more about « my » island on my blog « Sardegna Per Amici ». Have questions or concerns? Then write to me-I 'm happy to help.

Il tuo interessamento per la Sardegna mi fa molto piacere. Although I was born and raised in Switzerland, I feel at home here, so much so that a few years ago I decided to spend much of my time on the island that I love: the innate courtesy of the Sardinians, the evocative landscapes and the exquisite cuisine… that I have to fight against temptations every day
Along with sailing, my passion is Argentinean tango. With great pleasure I practice surfing or go to Cagliari for a dance night. Especially the small trattorias a little out of the way, where you can still taste typical and genuine dishes that attract me. Go shopping at the market and then cook the fresh produce with friends, visit a jazz concert, in the autumn participate in the olive harvest and see them squeezing them in front of me, going to mushrooms or spending hours in the library of Cagliari, are the activities I especially love.
I've traveled extensively, both for work and private travel. In the meantime, I prefer and appreciate the tranquility of these pristine places and the authenticity of its inhabitants to the crowded airports and mass tourist destinations. As you may have understood, thisisland is very important to me and that is why I am happy when someone else is interested. I'm happy to help with suggestions of all kinds. To get started, check out my blog “Sardegna Per Amigos”.
If you have any questions you can contact me directly and I will be happy to help you
