Charming and quaint two-room apartment with fireplace nearby the Old Town, middle of parks and a romantic wooden house area called Kassisaba. Well equipped, ideal for couples and families (1-2 kids). A park for children across the street. Dog park 500 m away. Walking distance to the Old Town 1,3 km and to nearest restaurants 300 m. Trendy Telliskivi area is just a 15-minutes walk away. Parking is available in the yard. A small grocery shop just at the front door and an other one a block away.

The space
In this charming and cozy apartment Indonesian antiques meets Ikea and Soviet retro in very relaxed manner. The apartment has belonged to the current owner since 1999 and has been renovated several times.

Practical two-room apartment (52 sq.m) includes an open plan living room with a spacious, well equipped kitchen, a bedroom with double size bed (200 x 180), and a bathroom. The apartment is bright and it has even a tiny balcony. You will find there everything necessary for a comfortable stay: WiFi Internet, cutlery and crockery, coffee and tea, bed linen, towels, washing machines etc.

The apartment is located in a green, quiet and cosy area called Kassisaba (Cat's Tail) with renovated, cultural-historically valuable buildings. House from the 1930’s is protected by Estonian museum authority. On the same street you can find also British and Danish embassies. Children's park is just across the street.

A couple of blocks away you can find a spa, and there are several nice restaurants nearby. Corner shops supply you with daily commodities. The nearest larger shopping mall is Kristiine center (1 km). Just renovated marketplace, Jaama turg, is only 10 mins walk away and worth of visiting.

I am Finnish journalist and translator, who was stuck in Estonia already before independence in 1990. I moved to this house on the 3rd floor in 1999 and from there to the attic of the same house five years ago. I love the house and the whole neighbourhood. I rent both apartments from time to time. I hope visitors will enjoy and feel the soul of the house.
