Centrally located in a popular Mexican village. Close to Mexican art / culture / restaurants. You’ll love it because of the comfortable ambiance in this 72 sq metre (780 sq ft) renovated casita next to hacienda style home in a Mexican neighborhood, located 4 minutes walk from Ajijic Plaza, 4 minutes walk from hiking trails, 8 minutes from Lake Chapala Society, 10 minutes from lakefront promenade.

The space
Original art, lots of glass, view of professionally landscaped garden with mangos, oranges, bananas, birds of paradise (in season), and your own private courtyard patio. King bed with ceiling fan in large bedroom, hexagonal domed living room, large washroom with shower, full kitchen. Wi-fi, wired internet to new 49” smart TV. Air conditioning not necessary. Gas fireplace and electric space heater if you need them. Purified water at all taps. Housekeeping once per week. Motorcycle friendly with secure parking. If you have a car, there is street parking. Solar-heated salt-water pool (but may be a bit cool Nov-Feb) and roofed pool patio shared with hosts and two other rental units. No pets or indoor smoking please.

We have two internet suppliers but still sometimes have irritating interruptions. There is no guarantee of 100% reliability! Tell us during business hours when internet is down so we can try to restore.

COVID - All booking clients must be vaccinated and show us by message before acceptance.
