Welcome to our family's two bedroom apartment. It has a fully equipped, open plan kitchen and a shower over a bath, making it suitable for both families and couples. Large sliding doors in the living room and master bedroom let in plenty of natural light from both balconies. There is a communal swimming pool in the summer (see 'Other things to note' for open dates) and you are only 450 metres from the beach and the award winning Puerto Marina.

The space
The apartment is modern, spacious and well equipped. There is fast fibre optic WiFi, SMART TV with some UK channels and a DVD player. The bedrooms are comfortable with good storage space and there are terraces off both the living room and the master bedroom. Parking in the communal car park is free and if you are driving you will be given an electronic key fob to enter the main gate.

The Mar del Sur apartments are only 450 metres from the beach and the beautiful award winning Puerto Marina with its host of shops, restaurants and bars. If you don't fancy the 7 minute walk to the beach, you can relax in the well kept gardens of the Mar del Sur swimming pools for which you will have a your own entrance key. The children's pool and adult pool are well maintained and there is choice of sun or shade in the gardens. (Please note that the swimming pools are open from the weekend nearest to 15th June to the weekend nearest to 15th September). A few steps from the pool and gardens is the Mar del Sur's Temple Bar which offers a friendly atmosphere serving food and refreshments throughout the day.

The balconies overlook a public car park which is often noisy. To the left there is a glimpse of the sea from the balconies, but there is no 'sea view' or any other attractive view.

The Marina offers the Sea Life Aquarium, Pirate Ship rides through the port and along the coast and much more. Less than 2 km away is the Parque de la Paloma - a beautiful park with rabbits, peacocks and other animals roaming freely. It also has a great adventure playground for children and pedal boats on the lake. Near to the park is also the Selwo Dolphinarium. Other nearby attractions include the Famous Marina Cable Car ride to the mountainous top of Benalmadena, Tivoli World Amusement Park and Aqualand Water Park in neighbouring Torremolinos.

For eating out, try some traditional tapas in one of the local bars or fresh fish and seafood at one of the fabulous “chiringuitos” (beach bars) along the seaside walks. You could try the Chef specials at the Oasis Restaurant or the evening BBQ’s at the fantastic Luna Beach Club.
