The house is located in an isolated position between the vineyard and the wood. Next to it there is another house used from time to time by Riccardo and his wife Francesca. We are in the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park. The nearest village is Biassa about 3 kilometers away where there are small shops. The nearest restaurant is located 1 km from the house at Colle del Telegrafo where there is also a bus stop.

I am a teacher of Geography viticulture and ecology buff. I am very concerned with environmental protection and diffusion of geographical culture. I recently wrote a book, "Mucche allo stato ebraico. Svarioni da un paese a scarsa cultura geografica” which collects the funny blunders of my students. I like the anglo-saxon and italian pop music, especially that of the '70s on which I wrote and edited texts events . The realization of this house is the result of a very ambitious project began in the early 2000s: the recovery of an abandoned vineyard of about 6,000 square meters. Together with other friends (with whom I founded a small company Prima Terra) I joined the Project of abandoned vineyards adoption of the National Park of Cinque Terre. At our expense we explanted completely abandoned the old and diseased vineyard. We planted more than 6,000 new seedlings. We have restructured almost 100 linear meters of dry stone walls (some high even 4 meters ! ), we made a fence of over 1 km to defend ourselves by wild boars. We cleaned the wood by weeds. The cottage, which consisted of a ruin, was completely rebuilt in 2005 and is shared with pleasure with those who love the Cinque Terre landscape and the workmanship that wisely has shaped this territory with terraces, and good wine.
