The old mill is sourrounded by beautiful nature and a view of the mountains. Renovated in 2008, it provides space for 6-7 people and is located in a quiet place. The house has a terrasse exposed to sun all day and a romantic garden by the creek. On the groundfloor a well equiped big kitchen and living room with a chimney oven, large dining table and comfy sofa and tv, and a tiny room with a single bed. On the first floor 3 bedrooms plus bathroom. Sauna/shower and room with sofabed in basement.

The space
The old mill built in 1837 was carefully renovated in 2008 and provides space with approx. 120qm for 6-7 persons. The house is quiet and separately located, few neighbours can be reached within a couple of minutes walking distance. House and terrace cannot be spotted from outside.
The house has a big terrace, exposed to the sun from morning to evening. There is a dining table with benches, chairs, sunshade and additional benches, chairs and deckchairs. When sunny weather, you can spend all day here and listen to the murmering of the mill creek and the singing of numerous birds!
On the groundfloor is a big and well equipped kitchen with anything you need for good cooking.
The cosy living room with a view of the mountains has a pellet fireplace. There is a big dining table with corner bench, seating 8 people comfortably. Plus a couchette and TV (satellite TV).
A narrow wooden staircase leads to the first floor with 3 bedrooms with double beds each (1,40-1,50m wide). Another bedroom with a short single bed (1,80m lenght) is on the ground floor.
Additional beds can be set up for children if necessary.
The bathroom is spacious and has a bathtub and shower.
A separate shower is in the cellar next to the Sauna (separate entrance from outside). The sauna has enough space for 4 people and an exit to the second terrasse to the East.
Behind the former mill runs a clear and idyllic creek that ends in a steep 12m deep water fall , as the house is set on a rock towards the East. Therefore, access to the northern and eastern side is at your own risk (there are wooden fences and if you do not cross them you are perfectly safe. However small children must not play there on their own!!). The grounds comprise 3000 qm of meadow and woods: you are surrounded by nature and murmering waters!

There wifi in the house and mobile reception is possible (best if you go out to the terrace)
Animals on request.

Hiking in the national park Berchtesgadener Alpen (beautiful hiking trails passing at the house and the entrance to the park and access to the Watzmann ist just 15min walk away), climbing, bicycling, swimming in the natural outdoor pool Aschauer Weiher, heated outdoor pool in Schönau, skiing and cross-country as well as sledging in winter, climbing gym, thermal bath "Watzmanntherme" in Berchtesgaden, saltmine with exciting guided tours, documentation centre Obersalzberg and much more. The city of Salzburg with all its cultural offerings is just half an hour away!
