Cliff Edge is located at the end of a paved road in a quiet suburban neighborhood of single-family homes. Just behind the house is dense woods filled with deer and smaller animals like raccoons. Birds fly in and out of my feeder all day long and hawks are often seen flying high overhead.

I have lived on Ithaca's West Hill since 1998. Before retiring, I worked as a graphic designer and marketing/communications consultant.

I have been hosting travelers to Ithaca since 2016 and welcome the opportunity to share my home with you for 2 nights or more - 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or a month. In 2007 I converted the downstairs ground level of my ranch house into a cozy, bright living space with a charming outdoor patio. I live upstairs with my adult son so I am always available to make sure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. I look forward to sharing my home with you.

During your stay

I will be available to greet you upon arrival and will be on-call for any questions or requests.

I am very energy-conscious and consider myself a Conservationist. As such I ask that my guests follow these simple Conservation Requests:
Turn off lights when leaving the apartment.
Turn off heaters and portable fans when leaving the apartment.
During cold-weather and winter months heat in the apartment is provided by furnace vents, central wall heater and space heaters. During your stay heat in the apartment should be kept at no more than 72 degrees. Running the heat above this will incur extra costs.
Do not leave Bathroom fan running more than 10 minutes.
Separate out Recycle items, Compost and Trash into bins provided.
