The lights on the right of the cover picture are the ones of our family house in Forno. The village is located at the end of the Biodola bay on Elba island. This home was built by boat by my grand-mother, a painter who had fallen in love with the place. We manage it for the family. It is located at the limit of the national park, and hence still only accessible by boat or by foot today. It has a private (stone) beach just below the house, and easy access to a small sand beach close to the house.

The space
The space is entirely turned towards the sea: living room facing the sea; large terraces above the sea everywhere; private (rock) beach at sea level. Quite unique.

Small private stone beach below the house. Super nice small white sand beach at 250m of the house. Another small beach at 5 min walk. Very large white sand beach at 10 min walk. Excellent restaurant in the village. Another restaurant + a pizzeria + a beach bar + a food shop at 5 min walk. Golf course next to the Biodola beach (5 min drive).

My grandmother built this villa in Tuscany about 75 years ago. She was a painter, who fell in love with the beautiful light of this place and decided to paint from there for several months per year. My siblings and I have been going there every year since our respective births. Our children are doing same. We have decided that is now time to widen the circle and let carefully selected people discover this place. I have agreed to manage this on behalf of the family. All proceeds go to the maintenance, costs, and improvement of the villa. Walk away if you are looking for standard places; contact me if you are interested by places which are far from being perfect but are quite unique!
