Situated in a quiet surrounding, overlooking the inner courtyard - our place will charm you with it's simplicity. It's been our little cove in the beggining and our pit stop later on.
Close to the public transport, yet far enough not to be bothered by it. Door to door with a bakery and a little shop with local fruits, vegetables and organic products. Great restaurants, supermarkets and bars close by. Also nearby: Arena Zagreb, Park Jarun, Dorms, Malls...

The space
In the last year we put in a lot of work in the design and preparation of the apartment, with one thought in mind - your commodity!

So we made sure to choose the mattress with care, latex and memory foam for your beauty sleep. If you prefer to read before sleeping like we do, you will find an USB charger outlet integrated in the bed. Or just simply adjust the TVs orientation and surf using the provided wireless keyboard and mouse.

It was a shame to crowd the space with big wardrobes right? So instead we designed the hidden drawers and a built in wardrobe - leaving you with more space to breathe, dance, practice your morning Yoga or simply rest your eyes from the unnecessary.

There are still ideas and wishes we are working on, like in example a big bean bag in the "reading corner" and a good reserve of books to read from. But being all handmade by us - it takes time. :) Yet, once done we are sure you will not regret it - for our motto is: "if it's worth it - it takes time and heart".

Update:
The bean bag project has been completed as of October :) moving on to the next one - books and a few unique shelves :)

Available on foot is the city park and lake "Jarun", home to many sports, bars and night clubs, and a place where dozens of concerts take place - like the famous "In Music Festival". We love to run (him) and skate (her) there early in the morning.

On the other side you will also find a great strolling path that follows the river Sava, ending to another - yet smaller park - "Bundek". Its perfect for a late night walk, especially when its snowing outside!
The "Zagreb Arena" is just across the bridge, easily reachable on foot or by car. While the city center is just a couple of blocks away.

Local and international restaurants are in the vicinity as well, of which we can definitely recommend the best čevapčići in "Čujić Grill", a Brazilian steakhouse and a pancake bar, all just 200m away.
If you fancy the tooth treat then find the local candy's, a hot tortilla or a nice plate of pasta just a short walk away. Oh, the best butcher shop in Zagreb is just five minutes away - and here's your perfect steak! Add a handful of veggies and fruits from the local farmers shop downstairs and you're ready to go!

But if going out is not your thing, we can surely recommend many yummy take outs for you to try. A bakery is just outside of your door, while two big supermarkets are 200 m away.

And to finish: theaters, universities, student dorms and cinemas - all at 1-3km of distance.

Yes indeed, as our apartment name states, and as you might find out when you meet us, we do not stick to the ordinary. We strive to do things in our own way, with our own hands and with the best effort we can. We work a lot, but we enjoy life a lot too! It's the only way to live we think. :) One goes with the other, doesn't it?

And that is the way we host too. It's hard to put into words and photos - somehow whatever you write here sounds just like anyone else trying to sound good :D. And the photos, ou well, we do our best to give you the best impression yet leaving some details for you to experience in person. No professional photography here... just us :).

So.... need anything more? Hmmm... ok, we love to travel, read and we are a bit nerdy concerning IT :D. We've been practicing Aikido in the long run, and yes we love the Japanese culture. We are also trying to advocate the fundamental principles of respect and understanding to the kids we teach in kids class, as well to the colleagues we work with by our own example (as often as we can (°.°) ). We try to live a healthy life in many ways, and...hmmm... ou! Did I mention we love cooking, growing and making all sort of things? But then again, who doesn't!

Well anyhow, so here is our story in short. More or less :D I tend to talk/write a bit if I'm in a good mood, like I am today :). So better stop now. ;)
