This is a Beautiful 1 bedroom-en-suite, self contained cottage which is located in a secure Estate of Monaghan Farm in the Cradle of Humankind. Situated only 3.5km from Lanseria International Airport. The position of the cottage is ideal for a work from home alternative. Couples can spend a few leisurely days away from the city on the farm in a Covid free environment. The area surrounding the farm boasts many historical and cultural activities such as Maropeng, Lesedi Village, Lion Park,

The space
This is a one bedroom cottage with an en-suite bathroom. There is a small well equipped open plan kitchenette with a microwave and a convection plate for cooking (no oven). Meals can be eaten either inside or outside. A cozy lounge is available with a TV screen for guests to use to caste their own viewing options by using the free WiFi. The interior of the BnB is beautifully decorated with art by South African Fine Artist, Zwali. It is both contemporary and homely.

The exterior of the cottage is enclosed in a courtyard with its own entrance and it is decorated with African artifacts. It is completely private with a dining and braai area for outdoor cooking. Guests can enjoy an outdoor experience in the quiet surrounds of the bush.

If you want to adventure further there are clearly marked walking trails down to the river and over to the other side where you will find stables, a tennis court further walking and cycling trails.

A viewing boma also gives you an opportunity to have a sundowner while enjoying the view of the river.

The cottages are very conveniently situated for a midweek stop-over as we are near Lanseria Airport for early and late flights to Durban, Cape Town and into Africa.
