Brightwood is a leafy, family-centric neighborhood. Rock Creek Park is just two blocks away from our home; a large and well-appointed public playground is just four blocks away. Though we're right in the District, on a Sunday morning all you'll hear is the birds chirping (and possibly the pitter-patter of little feet upstairs). The Maryland communities of Takoma Park and Silver Spring are both within walking distance or can be accessed by bus.
