Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
"Our group of friends has been going on a yearly getaway for 22 years now. By far this was the BEST AirBnB we have had, and we’ve had some great ones." Cozy, comfortable, and peaceful, Lakeview House is in a quiet NOTL neighbourhood, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, two lakefront parks with spectacular sunsets, and the Shaw Festival theatres. Made for relaxing, with a large deck, hot tub, hammock, an outdoor sectional couch, gardens, gas BBQ. No children, pets, or parties please.

The space
Lakeview House has been a gathering place for reuniting friends, bridal couples, many wedding guests, cyclists, wine-tourists, gourmands, theatre patrons, and history buffs.
Spend lazy summer evenings drinking wine beneath the stars. Made for guests who take lounging very seriously, with a generous outdoor living space: a wraparound deck, sectional sofa, hot tub, hammock, gas BBQ, and two dining areas (one under string lights in the garden pergola).
The 3 bedrooms each have queen beds: two bedrooms on the main floor share a bathroom with shower, and the second-floor bedroom's bathroom has a large soaker tub. The fully equipped kitchen has a convection/microwave, stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, coffee grinder, and blender. There's central air conditioning, ceiling fans, a washer/dryer, iron & steamer, wireless internet, two smart TVs (one is ultra-HD 4K), and stereo, turntable and record collection.

For theatre patrons, the Shaw Festival Theatre. For lovers of wining and dining, countless wineries, vineyards, restaurants, brew pubs. For music fans, several music festivals including Music Niagara, Hillebrand/Trius Jazz Festival, Blues Festival and Rock Festival, the outdoor amphitheatre at Jackson-Triggs, outdoor Tuesday and Wednesday night concerts at Art Park across the river in Lewiston, and local bands playing in local bars. The annual church/farm festivals: Strawberry Festival at St. Andrews church (June 18), the Peach Festival (August 13 ), Niagara Wine Festival (September 10-25) and the extremely popular-with-locals Wednesday night supper market, a gathering of food trucks and local restaurants serving food, wine, and beer. Long-time residents of Niagara-on-the-Lake, we owned the local Benjamin Moore store for several years. Rob has painted NOTL homes, shops, wineries and hotels for the last 40+ years. We've been renovating and painting (and re-painting) this house for years and finally got it to a place where it's (almost) done. We do live in it in the off-season, so it's a lived-in, well-loved home. My background is in book publishing, and we are book and music-lovers, as will become apparent. Rob loves to cook and entertain; you'll find the kitchen/living room/outdoor space lends itself to a very comfortable, easy stay.
