If you visit Iceland for the first time, you cannot miss "The Golden Circle." This iconic route represents one of Iceland's most famous day tours. When designing the experience, I wanted to introduce you to Icelandic nature's most symbolic wonders. There will also be time for relaxing soaking in the oldest thermal pool in Iceland. We will visit the Gullfoss waterfall and stay for lunch at the Geothermal farm. You will learn about Icelandic traditions and the origins of Icelandic settlements in the birthplace of Icelandic democracy-Þingvellir National Park. All the highlights I included in this tour are creating an Ultimate Golden Circle tour. Join me on this tour to feel like you're visiting your friend in Iceland! Silfra Tectonic Snorkeling w/Photos
I take being a host on Airbnb very seriously and I’m all about offering the HIGHEST quality. When you choose my experience over others, you will have this super small and personal experience with a true local. I don’t have a HUGE operation with dozens of guides, where you never know who you are going with. This is why I have much smaller groups. Please note that due to how expensive it is to run the tour I can not take only one person on the tour. Please contact me if you are booking for just one person and I will see what I can do to make it happen. We will meet at Þingvellir national park, where the two tectonic plates, the north american and eurasian, are drifting apart from each other. Silfra is a fissure in between the two plates and has the clearest water on the planet. This makes Silfra one of the top dive sites in the world. I will help you get suited up in the drysuit and explain how to use the snorkeling equipment. Followed by a small briefing about Silfra fissure and how everything regarding the snorkel works. The activity in the water is about 25-30 minutes. After we get out of the water we walk back to the car and enjoy a warm drink and some snacks. Other things to note You must send all participants Height (cm), Weight (kg) and Shoe size (EU). This is very important so I can pick the right size of drysuit for you. Please meet me 10 minutes before the start time. If you arrive 15 min after the start time of the tour, you can not participate.
The Funky Christmas Myths and Traditions
We will meet in front of Reykjavík's most popular landmark, Hallgrímskirkja. From there we will stroll through the city's colourful streets, visiting a few highlights and hidden gems along the way. As we walk around, we will share some interesting stories with you about Iceland's Christmas traditions, folklore and food. This is a short and fun walking tour that gives you an insight into our weird and wonderful folklore. Other things to note You will meet your guide in front of the church, by the Leif Ericsson monument. Please be dressed according to the weather and try to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts.

Volcano Hike with a Geologist
Hike up to Iceland's newest Volcano and learn interesting geological features about the development of the eruption and the lava field. The eruption at Fagradalsfjall began on March 19, 2021, and offers the unique opportunity to experience a breathtaking natural spectacle in a very unique way. A "once-in-a-lifetime" experience that you will never forget. The tour starts with a pick-up in Reykjavik at Bus stop 8 (Hallgrimskirkja). The drive to the eruption site on Reykjanes peninsula leads through old lava fields and gives a first impression of the creation of Iceland and the forming of the landscape in this area. The Hike begins with an overview of the volcanic history on the Reyjanes peninsula and the first signs of a new eruption at this place. At the lava field, we will discover the forming of new land and learn how the composition of the lava influences the appearance of the rocks. The following hike, up to the crater viewpoint will give you a breathtaking view of the lava field and the surrounding area. The drive back to Reykjavik leads along hot springs, lakes, and mountains through the beautiful landscape of the Reykjanes peninsula. As a professional geologist/volcanologist, I can give you a detailed insight into the processes of the eruption. A volcanic eruption is a natural phenomenon, therefore the activity of the eruption can change quickly and the view of hot glowing lava can not be guaranteed. The hike takes about 1 hours to 1.5 hours in each direction (2 to 3 hours in total). It's a difficult hike through rough terrain and sometimes bad weather conditions. Hiking experience, physical fitness, and good hiking equipment are required. Because of gas pollution in the area, the hike is not recommended for children under 12 years, pregnant woman, or people with lung diseases. On request, the tour can take place on different days or a different times of the day. The hike can be canceled with short notice due to bad weather conditions or high gas pollution.
Northern Lights & Stargazing with Photos
We'll pick you up from Reykjavik and take you straight out of the light pollution to find a clear sky for viewing the Northern Lights. A successful sighting depends very much on the cloud cover and we know exactly where all the best viewing spots are. We take photos of you under the Northern Lights, as many as you want, and explain the amazing science behind their behavior, color, intensity and more. The Northern Lights are elusive and sometimes we must exercise patience and wait for them to show up. Once we have established a good spot we set up the telescope and invite you to explore planets in our solar system and deep space phenomena some lightyears away. We also serve home made hot chocolate and Kleina, a local delicacy. We are experts and professional Northern Lights hunters in Iceland. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and a sighting can never be guaranteed. We cancel the tour if the forecast is unfavorable and you can re-schedule to another day. If we don't see lights on your tour, you can come again for free. The Northern Lights are best enjoyed with a small group you can call your friends at the end of the night. So we travel in tiny groups. Each driver guide takes maximum 10 passengers in a vehicle and we never travel in more than 2 vehicles together to protect the intimate experience. Wim Hof Breathwork session
Andri will be leading you into a very unique and different approach to breathwork. Based on the Wim Hof Breathing method. This group session will start with an explanation of the method, followed by a good led breathwork and deep relaxation at the end. Why breathwork? With chronic stress, anxiety, burnouts, and other stress-related conditions on the rise worldwide, it is time to go back to the basics and make fundamental changes for good. The good news is that breathing is a trending topic. People are becoming conscious of the power of breathwork for optimal performance and better health. Breathwork has been around for centuries. There are countless methods and techniques available today. From esoteric approaches to evidence-based protocols. Yet, all of them have in essence the same core principles. The goal is to bring you back into a state of balance. To your center. One breath at a time. Here and now. You will be guided into the essence of breathwork. Finding balance, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Using the combination of what we know works to get the best out of each breath. 1h transformational session in the land of Ice & Fire. Note: You will be joining an experience with other local participants. Private groups can be requested at different times. Great for team building. Great to come a bit early to start the session on time.
