We raised our 5 children in this beautiful home. We love to share our gift of hospitality when we have the opportunity. Dayton is a short drive to Carson City, Virginia City, Lake Tahoe, Reno. Large private suite with private entrance. Unit includes a large private bathroom and kitchenette which includes a sink, toaster oven, hotplate,coffee maker,and fridge. (Coffee is provided) Ideal for the weekend warrior who wants a comfortable, private place to sleep. Our Christmas Valley home has access to hiking and biking trails right out the front door. We are as close as one can get to Kirkwood and still be in South Tahoe. Suite is on second floor and is accessed by outdoor stairs.

Great place to relax and enjoy the serenity of the great outdoors. 55 miles to Kirkwood... hiking trails 15 min... 10 min to grocery and liquor store. 1 hr to S Lake Tahoe. 5 Min to golf course..... CHILDREN under 8 NOT allowed from Oct thru Apr due to Wood Stove which gets hot !!

Spring has sprung! Kirkwood Ski Resort still has a ton of new snow. We are 50 minutes from the ski resort. Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. We're powered with a whole house generator in case of an outage, which includes full power to the apartment. World class wineries are a 30 minute drive, or visit our historical gold rush towns.
