Come with me on a intimate tour with a nice mix of history, architecture, fun anecdotes, a few jokes and really, really, tasty food (Not the mainstream, cliché, touristy food!). We'll start at the Plaza Mayor and then make our way through the old village, stopping at a local market to enjoy some entrees and drinks. Then continue our historical journey through the most ancient and interesting parts of the old town, to finally end before the majestic Royal Palace. After putting aside the history we’ll finish the tour at a really cosy, gourmet restaurant where you'll get to taste different, mouth-watering, chef made tapas, local drinks and a really special and traditional liquor quite involved with the history of the city. Of course, aside from the food goodies, we will get an opportunity to chill, know each other better and share some laughs. This experience is for those who wish to discover an authentic Spanish Leathercraft Workshop and learn how to make their own Leather items. I will show the participants the use of the tools used for Leathercraft, many of which havent changed since medievil times. I will also introduce them to the variety of different kinds of leather that exist. Each participant will have the opportunity to use real Spanish Cowhide to create a Leather item with their own hands. In the workshop the participants can choose between a pretty travelling purse (with or without a strap), an original belt, a wallet, two different purses or braided bracelets. There is also the opcion of making a piece different from these which will be designed in the act...maybe something one always wanted to make....a handbag, a mobile phone case, a belt pouch ....if this is the case the teacher should be informed beforehand. Each piece will be unique as we will use technique such as stamping or embossing to decorate it. These techniques were introduced by the Moors hundreds of years ago and have a long tradition in Spanish Leathercraft. There will not be many of us in the worshop so we have the chance to get to know eachother without hurry. For those who dont speak Spanish I speak perfect English as I am originally from Ireland. Other things to note We will be using cutter knifes at one stage of the experience although for those who prefer the Handcraftsman will do the cutting.

We will meet at the train station and I will take you to explore some of the most beautiful Spanish landscapes that Madrid National Park Mountains can offer for 2-3 hours approx. The hike is easy and relaxing, perfect for a rest from the city hustle and bustle and connect with nature (it is only known by locals so it won't be crowded). We'll hike along mountains, little streams, oaks, holm oaks, pines, blackberries, wild roses, sometimes cows and horses will be free roaming among us... We will see some of the most amazing natural treasures that "la Sierra de Madrid" hides (including local ranches), we will also see some historical remains and will stop at a lookout to contemplate the chain of Mountains and the nearest towns. We’re having a special feature, today, Monday the 15th, from 17h00 to 19h00. LisboaLove Fado is the ultimate event to live and feel Portuguese Lisboa's traditional genre. Starting at 5PM on Friday’s and Tuesday's. I'll share some of our traditions and culture and a brief introduction to the history of Fado, to set the mood for our evening. The LisboaLove Fado takes place on an exclusive venue: my apartment! Please notice that pictures include also previous venues. It's a personal full experience only for the guests who book it, not joining a Fado Restaurant with others. For context I'll summarize the history of Fado. This will be followed by a 40-minute tribute performance to Amalia Rodrigues, Portugal’s most famous and well-loved Fado singer. I will add some commentary during the concert to resume the lyrics being performed. Since it is afternoon you may have walked a lot in our hilly city already, so we'll serve a snack of traditional petiscos. There's no Fado without some wine and olives too. But don't worry - I'm not singing :) A highly talented and recording Fado singer and musicians are performing for you!

After a welcome coffee to our XV century old house, we'll go downstairs to the stables to brush and saddle up the horses, and then we'll ride for about two hours across the silent, ancient landscape of Segarra, the Catalan Tuscany, on our way to some small medieval Catalan village. Wheat and barley fields, organic wineyards, old almond and olive trees, hills and slopes furrowed by ancient dry stone walls and incredible views will melt before your sight. Don’t worry if you’ve never ridden before, you'll be a small group so we will be on hand to help, instruct and support you. After riding you can explore our small village and go up to the XI century watchtower to see the amazing views. Then we will cook and share a traditional paella in our garden made with homegrown and very local products, while we talk about life and passions. This 4-course workshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is a great introduction to the world of paella and Spanish cuisine.  You will be greeted by one of our hosts with a glass of cava and then walked through the concept behind The Paella Club and the ingredients we work with. Afterwards, guests will organise themselves in groups of one-two per cooking station, where they will find every utensil and ingredient needed to cook each paella under the promise of a fully immersive and dynamic experience. Depending on the size of the class, several varieties of paella will be made at each class so that all of the guests are able to learn how to create and taste more than one type of paella.  You will feel at home while our staff guides you through our "10 secret paella steps." The Natural Park Sierra del Guadarrama offers incredible and rugged landscapes of breathtaking beauty. Open for all levels, thanks to our responsive and easy to ride horses, you will be able to ride even if you never saw a horse before :) Enjoy an intimate and fun experience in a scenic route, tall and beautiful trees will give you a fresh feeling, streams and brooks, wildflowers of various colours, cows and bulls, and much other flora & fauna. We'll head to where the city ends, nature begins, and tourists rarely venture. I'll take you to a local ranch, where you will be able to pet horses, dogs, sometimes there are even young horses that you can meet. I'll teach you the basics of riding. Then we'll set out across a dramatic landscape of forest and mountains for 1 hour approximately and when the ride finishes you will be able to pet and take pictures with friendly horses inside our barn. I will bring you from the meeting point to the ranch and back to the meeting point for free. To get to the meeting point you can use different types of transport, don't hesitate on asking. The ride will be around 1 hour but from when we meet to when we say bye-bye it will be around 2 hours. We will start in Madrid near Plaza Espana, in the center of the city. The experience which will last around three hours, we will go to three different rooftop bars in the center of Madrid that offer amazing views of the city. From these viewpoints, you will look out over Madrids iconic monuments and neighborhoods. We will discuss some of the culture as we travel to the rooftops bars. *** WEIGHT LIMIT 90KG *** Me and my wife are the only ones in Algarve taking the horses directly to the place of the trail ride instead of just riding around the stables. The ride we provide in this experience takes place through the woods and along the coastline of João Darens, called by many "the last green spot where the woods kiss the ocean". Two easy steps to enjoy this experience : we will send you the coordenates when you book the experience and we will meet you there with the horses, ready to go! Other things to note: I am a horse lover therefore I have an animal friendly policy, my horses don't use any metal bits on their mouths, unless they are still in training, only work two hours a day five days a week and my guests must be under 90kg. No experience with horses is required as no trots or canters are involved in this scenic ride.
