Lovely 1800's cottage in the heart of Sweden!

The peace and quiet, along with the magnificent view over fields and forest stole our hearts. Here you find everything you need to spend some relaxing time in the middle of Swedish nature. In the house, we offer free wifi and a fully equipped kitchen with both an electric stove and a traditional wood stove. A quick walk across the field, and you enter our own forest, full of chantarelles and lingonberries. With some luck, you might even bump into the king of the Swedish forest. The mighty moose.

In the small village of Delbo, 1 mile north of Sala in Västmanland, lies this little gem. Leas basement is a small house of about 25 m2 with all year around standard. Works as self-catering for a longer period of time but even if you want to just stay the night. Leas basement is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, wood-burning stove, kitchen part, toilet and shower. There is a queen size bed (160 cm) and a daybed for two. There's also Wifi as well as a monitor with Chromecast.

Distance: Sigtuna (4 km by foot/cycle path, 8 km by car). 17 km from Arlanda airport, 40 km to Stockholm city. 3 km to public transport (bus). The cottage is located close to the main building and has its own balcony with lake views. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake with a swimming area, about 100 meters away. On the property, there is a dog and during summertime there are sheep.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.

Small modernly furnished cottage located 1 mile north of Sala next to road 800. Nearby is Norrängens Alpaca farm and within a 3-4 mile Sala silver mine, Skogsbrands- the reserve, Visentparken in Avesta, Gårdsjö moose park and fishing in Dalälven. To Stockholm by train from Sala about 1 hour.
