This highly publicized and unique Goat Yoga experience has been featured in several articles and was profiled on the popular Canadian reality show, Dragon’s Den, in 2019. As founder and master Goat Yogi, I have completed many certifications including Certified Yoga Tune-up Specialist, Fitness Ontario Leadership Certification, the 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher accreditation with Yoga Alliance, and St. John’s Ambulance First Aid and CPR. I have been teaching Goat Yoga in Niagara-on-the-lake since 2015.
The goats of Fox Den are also trained and socialized for human interaction. Many of them still babies, the goats are friendly, docile and downright cuddly.
I love teaching Goat Yoga because of the amazing positive effects I have witnessed in my guests. Participants leave the session feeling lighter, more connected to nature and each other.

We had so much fun with Melina and the goats! Little Fern was so precious. Would do it again if we lived closer! The staff was so lovely and they cleaned all of our mats for us afterwards. It was a pleasurable experience 😀

This was a really fun activity to do on vacation! They want to make sure you laugh and relax all at once, and they succeeded. Being around the goats was so much fun and really helped me clear my mind. The cider tasting next door is a fun extra bonus :p !

Goat Yoga was a fantastic experience! Our instructors made a point of ensuring everyone got the opportunity to have an experience with the goats if they wanted one. The goats were very cute and friendly with everyone. The yoga was not difficult, I’m not a yogi but I have done yoga a decent amount and I would say this was very easy yoga that would be fine for anyone who had never done yoga before. I recommend renting a mat when you arrive instead of bringing your own and don’t wear your cutest yoga outfit because you’re going to get a little bit dirty when the goats touch you. You’re also outside, the yoga area is covered but it’s open air so when it’s a hot, sunny day it’ll still be really hot during yoga. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants to try something new and exciting. As a side note, I am not a fan of experiences with caged animals however these goats are very clearly loved, they live in a clean environment and spend their days getting attention, treats and fresh air. They don’t show signs of stress, abuse or even aversion to the people around them. These goats are relaxed, social and well taken care of.
