I have been to Barcelona many times and was looking for a day trip and this fit perfectly! You get to do a bit of hiking, riding a train, and visiting the local montessori.

From pick-up to drop off, this tour blew my mind and exceeded all expectations. Roger was not only knowledgeable, but also very passionate. The experience was amazing and made me feel safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. The cable car ride up was great with breathtaking views. Loved the hike as well. Pick up was in a centralized easy to find location and the drive was not too long. Roger gave us background info and great tips throughout. The tour included a delicious lunch at farm. I will not share specifics because you deserve to experience it so go ahead and book.

I can thoroughly recommend this trip and especially recommend Paul. Interesting friendly thoughtful patient… The gentle hike down from the summit of the mountain is gorgeous. We also has plenty of time to see and appreciate the Abbey and Monastery…

We met up with the group and our guide, Roger, in the middle of the shopping district which was convenient especially if you’re going to shop after. Then as soon as we were complete, we drove together to the place and took the cable up the monastery which we really liked since it added to the experience. However, it was really cold once you’re up there so bring extra scarves, jacket and/or gloves! Roger was very informative and patient with having to do the tour in two languages. After he did his part, we had free time to go into the church and to the stores. Then we went down the path to have lunch which was so good and plenty! We didn’t think they’d serve that much but not complaining here, it was delicious and especially the local wine they served. It was a fun tour overall but I did want to do a little hiking especially after that lunch but we had a siesta in the car on the way home instead (lol). Anyway, great experience!

We were 8 in the group of Spanish, Portuguese and English speakers. I really appreciate the tour guide for speaking both in Spanish and English (not sure if he spoke Portuguese too) to accommodate everyone in the group. He’s very friendly and it was evident that he knew so much about the place. I’m not sure if it was really part of this experience but we had free lunch and overflowing wine at Restaurant El Casot and had some authentic Catalan dishes from starters, mains to desserts. I won’t say the name of the particular dishes as I was surprised myself and I want future guests to be surprised too! But overall, I loved it!
