As a licensed travel planner/travel agent creating awarded tours is my passion which led me to create my own bespoke company which is trusted by the New York Times and Lonely Planet! Apart from owning my own vineyard & farm, I have been passionate about everything around Cretan food culture and its connection to the island of Crete from a young age.

I run this experience in the diverse countryside of Crete with my local team as we love showing the best of our land away from tourist traps.

Together, we’ll explore traditional villages, admire epic sceneries, discover the Cretan culture and pamper you by trying the best "slow food", wine and raki in the region.

This is a family-friendly experience and an introduction to a "slower" and healthier way of living based on our local traditions and customs.

We had to kinda adjust our trip due to us being there for the slow season and also due to some weather. But that was a blessing in disguise as we got to go on this trip with Michael (Rebecca's husband)! He was beyond knowledgeable and was so funny, he had all of us in stitches most of the trip. We are still repeating some of his lines! Great drive up the mountains and stopped an amazing local place for a long slow lunch. We then went to a winery (a lot of the wineries were closed due to slow season) and then got home. I am sure that this tour is even better during regular season.

If you are looking to get into the countryside outside Chania and see the lifestyle of Crete in the white mountains all while trying a TON of amazing local food and drink - this tour is for you! Truly you are welcomed to take a peak at local life through some unique authentic experiences. Our guide Giannis had so much great history and detail on Crete and was a lot of fun to spend the day with. The tour was even better than we were hoping! Tip: there is a ton of food so don’t eat before!

We had an amazing day out with Giannis, talking about Greek history, politics, food and everything in between! It enriched our stay in Crete so much to learn more about the country. As neither of us drive, there was no way we would have been able to get out to the villages and countryside in the way that we did. If you're a foodie, you'll definitely enjoy this tour - we kicked off with some amazing breakfast, segued into a lavish lunch at a traditional mountainside Cretan restaurant with a stunning view of the landscape below, and then capped it off with a delightful winery and lots of cuddles from the winery's very friendly pet dog. We aren't the typical tour group type, but I honestly couldn't recommend this experience more.
