Hello! We are a family of beekeepers ,located in Crete .Our story starts back in 1982 when a young mathematician (our father) bought his first hive as a new hobby “a moment is enough”. The hobby had become obsessive! Since then, the bees have increased to hundreds hives in numerous bee yards across Crete, producing many different types of monofloral honeys. Nowadays the legacy continues as the next generation ,Yianni & Elena continue the excellence in honey production by implementing fresh ideas. Me as an agronomist and my sister as honey expert ,we will create a mind-expanding life experience.

This experience is a rare combination of great innovative idea and the exact people to fulfill it. Yani and his sister dipped us deep into the the natural world of bees. They really new what they are talking about and they did it with style, expertise and the exact dose of humor! The tour is also well balanced between interesting theory and hands-on experience with the beehives!!! Recommended to anybody who is looking for something new and interesting.

Wonderful hands on experience with very knowledgable and personable beekeeper. We were the only 2 on the experience but nothing was rushed and we felt comfortable to ask questions. Memorable and gave us the confidence to go ahead with our plan to be hobbyist beekeepers next spring.

What a great learning experience! I came out of this with a strong appreciation and understanding of bees. After this, I will only buy my honey from independent/small producers. I was also surprised by how quickly I felt at ease with the bees. Super safe environment. The tasting was also a nice way to put it all together.

Really interesting and educational. Especially for people who are afraid of bees, Yannis proves just how soft these animals are. The location and viewpoint was really nice and we tried different kind of honeys.
