Ivica is truly lovely. You can tell he cares deeply about the horses, his family, and the new friends he makes on his experiences! The setting was magical, but the best part was sitting and chatting with Ivica after the ride (not to mention the wine and cheese and meat that Ivica's wife prepared for us!!). If you want a wonderful experience that is part adventurous, part traditional Croatian, and 100% heart-warming, book this!

My friends and I had a wonderful experience horseback riding with Ivica. We were able to Uber out to his home and it was easy to find. Ivica did a great job matching the horses to each person and we each had a great time getting to know each of them and their back stories. You can tell he really cares for his horses! The horseback riding trip was beautiful riding through farms and we had some wonderful views and a killer sunset! Ivica hosted us in his home after and provided a delicious charcuterie plate and some wine. Lovely experience overall and would 100% do it again.

This experience was Ivica was absolutely unforgettable. The horseback riding itself was fantastic. Ivica was a terrific guide, as he helped us feel comfortable despite our limited experience. The horses were impressive and well trained, and the locations and views were beautiful. Even more memorable, however, was the time spent visiting with Ivica. He was a beyond generous, sharing wine, bread, meat, and cheese with us, all while telling stories and socializing. It was a glimpse into local life, and one we will not forget. We give this experience our strongest possible recommendation.

Wonderful experience with Ivica. It’s very clear the horses are loved and well looked after. The route is safe and the scenery beautiful, especially at sunset. My partner and I would have loved to do some galloping, whether that was possible or not. Nevertheless, we made some lovely friends and were given some lovely food and wine at dark. The location, despite being near the mountains is very easily accessible and a straightforward drive which was a nice surprise. Thank you Ivica!

Don't miss out on the most epic horseback ride in Croatia. Ivica is super kind and patient whether you've never ridden before or if you're a seasoned rider. The experience will take you on an adventure through vineyards and olive groves, with a stunning backdrop of the mountains the whole time. The excursion was peppered with Ivica's anecdotes of how he came to be a horse owner (many are rescues) and his experiences growing up in Croatia in his village. His love for the horses is very clearly reciprocated by them. Can't recommend this excursion enough. You will not regret it, it was my favorite thing I did in Croatia.

The trip with Ivica and his horses was beautiful, not only because of the scenery and the stories that accompany it, but also because you could feel that Ivica is loving and caring towards his animals, his heritage and the land he lives on. Suitable even for greenhorns and highly recommended for everyone.
