Ever notice how a certain smell, taste, or nuance can bring back a memory or sense of nostalgia? It brings you to a place and time with family, friends, and memories over a heart-warming meal. This is what we aim to share here.

Together we re-create my grandpa's holiday feast of pierogi, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut & more. Starting from fresh ingredients from the seasonal garden & pantry we work our way towards the kitchen, before filling our bellies with joy.

All of the preparatory work is done and you arrive with everything mise-en-place. You choose the seasonings and fresh herbs, tasting each dish through its trajectory. Since we do all of the cooking from scratch the meal is highly adaptable to seasonal produce availability, special requests, and dietary needs.

There are no special skills required to participate and is adaptable to those of all abilities, young and old. Everyone helps in the meal together.

Where you'll be

The experience takes place at our nest under the shade of the giant black chestnut tree. More, precisely in our family home and when plausible our garden, dining room and kitchen.

Great experience! Would definitely recommend, Robert has great insights and stories from his life and his family’s past. Very easy to get along with them and we felt very welcome, plus the food is great! We will definitely make our own version of the dinner he showed us how to make once we’re back home
