I am a co-owner and founder of Boudanath Inn, Nepal, the Himalayan experience. I returned to my home town after many years studying and working in Chicago. Now I am focused on what I truly love doing; hiking in the Himalayas and buddhist meditation. I am a certified guide, interpreter with School for international training and alumni at Rangjung Yeshe Institute, ryi.org, a school for Buddhist studies.

I have done Everest Base Camp (EBC) and many trek around Annapurna region (ABC) and Pokhara. This treks are now very much commercialized and crowded in most seasons. This is why I like to offer you Helambu Spiritual Hike which is also my hometown and region I am most familiar with. This will give you an opportunity to see ethnic villages in original form and walk trails that are still not so touristy.

The whole spiritual hike was all in all a unique experience. Jigmey treated us as old friends, so we felt very comfortable the whole time. We were able to move about freely at his guesthouse, which let us feel very much at home. While staying with Jigmey, he was sharing many experiences and stories with us. He explained us everything about the Nepalese and Hyolmo culture. Additionally, Jigmey introduced us to all his friends and relatives, who welcomed us in their houses and treated us also as old friends or even as family. We can highly recommend this local experience and would like to thank Jigmey for all experiences we have made.
