What you'll do

Starting in the city of Pokhara, we'll trek five to six hours per day through the mountains to the top of Mohare Danda, situated 3313 meters (10,869 feet) above sea level.

We'll stop to take in stunning vistas of Himalayan peaks and pass through rhododendron forests. We’ll visit Nangi, the first remote village of Nepal to have wireless Internet and stay in villages inhabited by the ethnic Magar people, an indigenous ethnic group of Nepal. Meals will take place at community lodges and teahouses and we'll spend our nights at community homestays run by villagers.
We will also see the unique culture and lifestyle of Nepali villagers along with beautiful stone thatched villages & some Yak herding places on the lap of Nepali Mountain.

  • Day 1

    From Pokhara to Banskharkha village
    Drive 3.5 hours from Pokhara to Galeshwar village and trek 3 hours to Banskharkha village.
  • Day 2

    Banskharkha village to Nangi village
    Trek 5 to 6 hours from Banskharkha village to Nangi village and stay at community lodges.
  • Day 3

    Trek to the top of Mohare Danda peak
    Hike 5 to 6 hours from beautiful Nangi village to Mohare Danda peak, then stay overnight.
  • Day 4

    Mohare Danda to Ulleri/ Tilkhedhunga
    Watch the sunrise from Mohare Danda, then walk 6 to 7 hours downhill to Ulleri or Tilkhedhuga
  • Day 5

    Return to Pokhara
    Trek 2 hours downhill from Tilkhe Dhunga village to Nayapool and then drive back to Pokhara.

Friends, it’s me Aabiskar the mountain lover. I am also the Manager of Local Tour operator company in Pokhara since more than 5 years where we also operate our trips to Mohare Danda region of Annapurna Conservation area since many years and I love visiting that part of the world.

This experience is jointly hosted by me and the professional Nepali Guide Ramesh (Upon Availability). Ramesh has completed his university degree & doing Trekking in different routes of the Annapurna Region for more than since 2012. He had done more than a dozen of time to climb Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Round Annapurna Circuit Trek, Mardi Himal Climb & Mohare Danda.
