What you'll do

Trek through the Himalayas to Annapurna Base Camp, stopping to take in views and soak in Jhinuwa hot springs.

Starting in Kathmandu, we’ll drive to Nayapul and begin our trek. Along the way, we will stop at the famous Poon Hill viewpoint, and trek towards the Annapurna Massif. On day eight, we’ll take a dip in the Jhinuwa hot springs. We’ll ultimately trek to Phedi, where we’ll meet our drivers and return to Pokhara. Be prepared to hike up to eight hours a day on this active adventure.
We partnered with the Adventure Travel Trade Association, experts in adventure travel, to define best practices and standards for safety.

Your itinerary

  • Day 1

    Trek to Ulleri
    After a 2-hour drive to Nayapul, walk through the lush Modi River Valley to reach Ulleri.
  • Day 2

    Trek to Ghorepani
    Climb gently through cultivated fields to reach Ghorepani.
  • Day 3

    Poon Hill Visit and Trek to Tadapani
    Take an hour-long hike to the famous Poon Hill and descend to Tadapani.
  • Day 4

    Trek to Chhomrong
    View the peak of Annapurna South once you reach Chhomrong Village.
  • Day 5

    Trek to Bamboo/Himalaya Hotel
    Walk through the forest of Kuldi Ghar to reach Bamboo/Himalaya Hotel.
  • Day 6

    Trek to Fishtail Base Camp
    View the South Annapurna Glacier as you trek to Fishtail Base Camp.
  • Day 7

    Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
    Take in the mountain scenery on this 2-hour trek.
  • Day 8

    Dip in the hot springs
    Trek to the Jhinuwa Hot Springs.
  • Day 9

    Trek to Pothana
    Make your way to Pothana.
  • Day 10

    Back to Pokhara
    Trek downhill for 3 hours to Phedi, then get transferred back to Pokhara.
