What you'll do

First of all, an small introduction about ourselfs, our culture and explain all about the 5 different regions of Colombia. Then we go to try the most authentic dish of the Capital, Ajiaco. Then we got a surprise from the Orinoquia region! After that, the next restaurant is specialized in pacific coast food and for sure we cant forget our patacones from the Caribbean. After that we try some of the exotic fruits in a local market. Next step is tamal from the south of Colombia, one of the most representative ones. If you are still hungry, not worries, we will have some of the Bogota's snacks. Then we will learn about our coffe culture, we will smell, taste and drink a high quality organic coffe cup. This is a real and deep gastronomical experience where we eat and learn. We dont offer samples we eat proper dishes! Remember! ALL THE FOOD AND DRINKS ARE INCLUDED, you dont have to pay extra money! This is a FLEXIBLE experience, restaurants may change (we have more options in case some of our friend restaurants are closed or people want to try other exotic plates) Vegeterians and vegans are more than welcome!
Other things to note
We are going to the restaurants and local coffe and chocolate shops by walking. All of it are located in a walkable distance in one of the most beautiful districts in Bogota, la Candelaria.

Where you'll be

One of the highlights of this gastronomical experience is to cook with a local chef, we will use her tools and kitchen and know her deeply. We wil go as well to Concordia market to talk with Maria and Doña Gloria and try their food, they have been working at the local market for decades and even their parents used to worked ther as well. The other restaurants are regional ones and got their own history, one belongs to a Muisca family

Our guide was Christian, he is excellent guide, took us to hidden jems of Bogotá dining. I am glad I took this tour - I would never got to these places by myself. I highly recommend this tour to those who doesn’t speak Spanish. You will be able to enjoy local foods and spend time with fun.

Great tour! It is long, though, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes and clothes for walking in. Also, the weather in Bogotá is all over the place, so bring a rain jacket or umbrella since the tour involves a good deal of walking outside.

The experience hosted by Andrea has been the highlight of our trip. We tried many amazing dishes. Andrea is an excellent hostess and amazing guide. Her passion for Bogota truly shows with the food and places that are introduced. It was a pleasure seeing the city and trying different dishes! Definitely an experience I would recommend to anyone! :)

I really enjoyed our tour, and I was pleasantly surprised by some of the food options (try the Capybara!). Christian also gave great recommendations for night life and other things to do in Bogota. We had a great time!
