What you'll do

Want to try your hand at glassblowing? It is exciting! Make a flower or a paperweight or an ornament with our help. You'll experience first hand the thrill of working with molten glass and will create a unique work of art from start to finish.

I will start with an overview of the glass studio and the glassmaking process and give you an actual demonstration on how to make the item you've selected. You’ll roll the glass in the color(s) of your choice, blow into the pipe, and help shape the piece. After an overnight controlled cooling process, you walk away the next day with your own, one-of-a-kind creation or we can arrange shipping for a small additional cost.
Other things to note
This experience is open to any one from the age of 8+

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was exciting but I felt taken care of and safe with Robert there every step of the way. I can't wait to receive the paperweights in the mail- I'm sure they turned out beautifully.

Such a cool experience - we made objects ourselves from glass. It was way outside anything we've ever done before. Robert made it straight forward and easy to complete and it was so much fun!

Excellent experience. You get a very direct experience with pro. glass making equipment with safety and fun. You also make your own piece of glass to take home. Highly recommended.

This was one of the highlights of our visit to Vermont. Robert demonstrated each technique beforehand and explained to us the reasoning behind each step in the process. He was delightful, personable, friendly, and made the intimidating glassblowing process easy for beginners. We drove in from Killington (about 1.5 hrs away) and it was worth it. Highly recommend!
