What you'll do

Our walking tour will introduce you to entrepreneurial life in Tallinn, offering you the unique experience to learn the basics from a local entrepreneur and digital marketer.

Over the past 2 years, I have been a participant in many a hackathon in Estonia and Latvia, as well as participated in accelerators. My network is big and colourful, and I am always happy to help other innovators (or the innovation curious) grow and learn.

For the past year, I have worked as a local guide for Lokafy, hence am also a source of knowledge on how to integrate best into the local culture and mindset (if relocation is an issue).

During our tour, we will walk from Hobujaama to Telliskivi, learn about local startup, investment and entrepreneurial culture as we pass by a few of the most famous startup incubators, accelerators and startup facilitators in town.

Throughout our walk, I will give you the knowledge to navigate the scene fast and efficient as a newbie (e-)resident, entrepreneur or startup investor.

Connect with the local ecosystem, accelerators, VCs, investors, and co-working spaces fast. Learn how to approach Estonian culture, and life in general, as a curious, foreign investor or entrepreneur.

Save precious time by knowing who to talk to, how and when.

Hello, Grüss Gott and Tere!

I am an Austrian entrepreneur and participative media artist, who originally stumbled upon Estonia via their e-residency programme. Eventually, I decided to move to Tallinn- and now I own an NGO working with GENZ students as well as a small, values-first PR agency.

I designed this walking tour to introduce Tallinn as a location for doing business to foreign entrepreneurs and investors, and introduce (future) (e-)residents to the local peculiarities.

As a former tourist Guide (Lokafy, GYG) and fellow foreigner I offer a unique perspective on Tallinn and can give you a cultural as well as an economic overview on Tallinn and its business and startup scene.

Where you'll be

Our tour is a WALKING TOUR. We will walk around 3 kilometres, and for the most part of the 2,5 hours.

From general, practical knowledge on how to navigate here as a foreigner (on business), sightseeing tips and shopping, as well as introducing you to the business centres, incubators, and workspaces, I can give you tips on where to get authentic, Estonian food, and see some amazing places regular tourists rarely to never get to see.

Alexandra asked me to write my review in Italian, so... here we go.

Alexandra is very knowledgeable about Tallinn and its entrepreneur-business ecosystem. The tour opened up my horizon in a non-tourist way, and I especially appreciate that Alexandra adapted the content to my personal interest!

This was a great walk and chat around Tallinn exploring the new/changing districts and the connection to history and culture. I could see this experience being fascinating for a curious tourists or super useful for an entrepreneur looking to explore more about the digital residency and startup seen in Estonia. I came in with very few expectations, but I really enjoyed the historical overview (which added a lot of context), and the thoughtful take on how the city and country have digitized and encouraged entrepreneurship. This experience was very different from a formal tour, and while Alexandra had a clear plan with tons of great information, she did a great job adapting to my interests while making sure she shared some clear and useful information. Thanks again!

Alexandra is a very knowledgeable person in many domains, notably art, business and Estonian history. Great tour if you are interested in an in-depth non-conventional view of Tallinn

Alexandra came extremely prepared and delivered an extremely detailed tour that mixed history of the city and country. She presented a clear-eyed lens of what life can be like in Tallinn, saving would-be entrepenuers to the country time and money through her own experiences there.
