What you'll do

Live a unique experience among the mangroves of Laguna Nichupté during sunset.
Our kayak tour will allow you to enjoy majestic landscapes while enjoying the flora and fauna of the area.

We will start with an introductory talk about safety and the basic concepts of the activity.

Then, we enter the mangrove forest where (if we are lucky) we can admire the great variety of birds that inhabit or visit the place in its channels and lagoons. Later we will take a break on the only beach within the lagoon, a perfect place to refresh yourself and take the best photographs of your experience in the Nichupté Mangrove Flora and Fauna National Protected Area.

Self-challenge: Most animals can see, hear, or smell you long before you are aware of their presence. Whether you are looking for wildlife or observing it, you will be more successful if you trust more than your eyes. Take this time to connect with your senses, listen for branches that break, calls from animals or the flapping of the wings of birds to help you locate wild animals or simply to connect with nature.

NOTE: The route, time, and distance of the tours are approximate and may change depending on weather conditions. Always putting your safety as a priority, for you have the best experience

Kayaker, marathoner, jungle trekking expeditionary and nature photographer, I started touring the lagoon 13 years ago. Each time further, each time with more detail. The ecosystem of the lagoon system never ceases to amaze you. The beauty of the place is magnified when it is shared. After you know the place you will always want to return.

Swami Andres is a very friendly host, cares about nature and does his best to make your experience the best. I recommend to take this kayak tour from Swami. I do not know the conditions of the market but the trip costs almost as expensive as US while MX is like 5 times lower income country. However it was more like a private tour which I like that aspect of it. A route map before the trip can help to visualize the experience.

Book this experience ASAP! I did a lot of activities while in Cancún, but this is one that I HIGHLY recommend. 😊 I can’t say enough good things… It definitely exceeded my expectations. The lagoon and mangroves are absolutely breathtaking! Swami Andrés is also a wonderful host! He is very friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable about the area and the environment as a whole. As a kayaking beginner, he was super helpful & accommodating. We also made great conversation. The entire experience was very pleasant, relaxing, and enlightening. 😀✨
