For harbour sightseening trips we will leave Crosshaven pier and head our the right side of the harbour out towards Roche's Point and back in the left side of the harbour. I will stop along the way telling you about the history of the various places of interest. There are old forts, Spike island prison, Cobh town, Monkstown to be seen and talked about. Best experience ever, highly recommend it! My friends and I don’t have much fishing experience so Fergus gave us many tips and we got to learn and test three different kind of fishing techniques. We caught many fishes that we will be cooking later tonight, super proud about it! What makes this experience unique I guess is that Fergus really makes you feel at ease as soon as you get on the boat: he is friendly, knowledgeable, told us about the history around Crosshaven, Spyke Island etc and he really shares his passion for fishing in a very interactive and human way (+ lovely homemade bread too!) Can’t wait to come back, thanks again for everything

Ireland is a very magical place. Fergus is a very amicable person who loves sailing and fishing. He teaches you the rich history of Cork harbor while at the same time building a relationship with all the experience goers. Fergus was the first person I met in Ireland, and if possible, I would like to meet him again!

My husbandand and 15 Yr daughter went out with Fergus today. To say they had an excellent experience is an unstatement. Fergus made the whole trip enjoyable from the start, providing both local history and homemade bread . The fishing was a success and the day went too quickly. Will be booking again ,highly recommended

Our experience fishing with Fergus was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I loved the whole day, complete with catching numerous different species of fish and thoughtful touches from Fergus including coffee and homemade bread and pickles we ate in a picturesque cove. Fergus was welcoming and personable, and he told us about landmarks and answered all our fishing, Irish history, culture, and travel questions. Fergus also rigged the fishing rods, gave us pointers, and took the fish off the hook for us. 😁 This stands out as one of the absolute best experiences of our 2 week trip in Ireland. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a fantastic day out with Fergus. Not having any real fishing experience we were mostly after a sightseeing trip and Fergus delivered. Fergus has a great amount of knowledge of the surrounding area and showed us many places and things you wouldn’t normally see. Fergus also provided some lovely homemade bread. In the end we stopped to do some fishing and caught our first ever fish. Would definitely recommend

Definitely recommend this trip. We had a excellent day with Fergus, who is a wealth of knowledge and very pleasant to all who sail with him. We loved to hear all the history Cork Harbour had to offer, the amazing once in a lifetime picnic in a boat and watching our kids ocean fish for the first time. Fergus knows all the right place's to fish from his life time experience sailing the seas. Would do this trip again.
