I have been kayaking and teaching people to kayak my entire life! I consider myself so lucky to live on this clear, clean, river and I love showing it to new friends! I competed in the 1996 Olympics in Kayaking and have been volunteering to help disabled folks to kayak ever since, because I would never have made it to the Olympics if it was not for going through the rehab process after a car accident at the World Championships. So, I like to help people to get out of the hospital to make the rehab process fun. . .

This was the perfect way to jump-start the weekend! A peaceful kayak trip down the San Marcos river with some white water rapids towards the end. Saw cranes, prehistoric-looking turtles, and fish, and Ben was as great a host as anyone could hope for! I'll definitely be going back! As someone else said - don't think about it, JUST GO!

This was a personable tour and we loved every minute of it. We had a small group & it was hands on. The guide shared tons of history and has a genuine love for nature & respect for our environment. It was a great time! Highly recommend, great value for price, & don’t forget bug spray!

We had a great time-- the clear bottomed boats are a nice touch, and Ben is a really excellent guide-- a good balance of sharing information about the river and making conversation. His awesome kayaking skills also let him speed up ahead of you and snap lovely photos as you go by particularly scenic parts of the river. As a bonus, because our group was so small, Ben took us to the springs first instead of the usual starting point; he also let us extend our tour down the river beyond the Olympic Outdoor headquarters. It would have been a really nice experience without those two extra elements, but getting to see these other beautiful spots was REALLY something. A super-special experience.
