What you'll do

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a Shepherd? Well here is your chance.
I will take you with me in the morning to herd the flock! You will experience herding in nature. We are walking in nature without any path, so you will have to be ready for an adventure! You may have to crawl on your hands and knees or climb small rocks!
So be ready :)
In addition to the physical adventure, you will learn all about sheep, dogs, and how I use sheep to increase biodiversity! I will teach you how to lead a herd and why herbivores are so important in our ecosystem. You will meet our 7 goats, our dogs and of course the sheep!
I will search you early in the morning, and we will go together in the 4x4 to the flock. Then we will take the flock out of the night park and herd them for 3-4 hours. That means walking with them in the wild! Then we'll lock them up in their park and I'll take you back to your cars.
After this day you will know all about: How to herd a flock, take care of sheep, the importance of pastoralism and the functioning and importance of plants!
Do not miss this unique experience to learn about pastoralism and land regeneration!

Merci Lennart !

An amazing and unique experience in the Cevennes! 100% recommend. The drive out alone takes you into a beautiful area, and it is great to meet the three sheep dogs of Lennart and see them so excited and attentive while working to herd the sheep. In addition to the sheep there's some friendly goats (including a few small ones) and a young cow named Marguerite that we could pet a lot throughout. The trip starts walking up the hill with all the animals, and at the top there's an amazing view. Lennart also provides good explanations of efforts to minimise impact of sheep on the land and different strategies which help biodiversity in the area.

Wow !
