This experience was amazing! The tour Micheal gave us thru the eco-village was very interesting and the story line was perfect to follow. He has a lot of knowledge and was open for questions. The place was magical and the people that volunteer were also very kind. They prepared a super tasteful organic meal while we got the tour. I never have eaten so delicious food pure and natural. If you like plants or you interest in eco systems, this experience is a must!

Knowledgeable host, taught us a lot of aspects of permaculture. Effective water management, automated irrigation, natural fertilizer, compost management, soil amelioration, evaporation control, and food preservation. We saw plants with special functions, nitrogen binding trees, salt binding hedges that serve as wind breakers too, moisture binding bushes, insect repellent herbs, and symbiotic systems. The oasis featured also technical specialties, solar water heaters, toilets that do not consume water, food drying racks, and buildings made from natural concrete comprising cactus juice. The atmosphere was super positive and motivating, a glimpse into a better future. Definitely recommend it.
