What you'll do

We'll meet at our specific location and we will introduce ourselves. Then, we will stretch and warm-up in order to be ready for our run!
The first 10 minutes of the run will be our warm-up. During those minutes, I will show you breathing techniques to be more efficient during the actual run.
During the run, you will be in constant contact with nature: huge trees, lakes, mountains and, if you're lucky, wild animals!
Of course, during the race, I will give you some freedom, but never too far for you to get lost. I'm not here to make you a professional runner, so you ever feel tired, sick or not into it, please let me know. In that case, we can find an alternative running trail or literally just stop!
It's important not stop running as soon as the run is finished, that's why we'll have a 5 min decompression walk after the session. We'll hydrate ourselves and relax for as much time as you need.
By that time, the 2 hours session should be near it's end and that'll wrap our day!
Other things to note
I would recommend you actually take half an hour after our activity to let your body recover and rehydrate itself. Otherwise, I suggest you take about 2 hours off your schedule for the experience!

Running in the woods, for me, is a form of meditation and this is why I want people to experience it. I've been running in the Gatineau Park for a couple of years now and I know my way around the trails. I was in the running club of my college for 5 years and I also did Crossfit for over 3 years.
I've never run a marathon because I don't feel like running necessarily needs to be a race - personally, I prefer running in the woods for fun!
I'm not a PRO, but my knowledge of the trails in the Gatineau Park is what makes this experience unique, since the Gatineau Park can be overwhelming sometimes for newcomers with its abundance of activities and network of trails.

Where you'll be

We'll mainly be running in the Gatineau Park trails. Depending on your experience and your level of expertise, we'll choose an adequate trail for you! Some trails even have lookouts, lake side trails, phenomenal contact with nature and even some historical sites.

Nicolas was very knowledgeable of the park and trails. He understood my level and we took breaks when needed. Good trail and run. If you want a cool man to run with, he’s good. I recommend it, especially for those that don’t know the area well and those wanting a good run!
