Other things to note
You may have read that Soweto is dangerous, but I can say that Soweto is not so bad. It's not perfect, but it is safer than many European cities. Sowetan people have "ubuntu"—a humanity toward others.

My experience as a tour guide makes me a qualified host because tourism has always been about showing hospitality through history and culture. Music, dance, and food are a very important part of South African history. People have always found that music can be their voice if the normal way of communicating is not working. I do not give you an audiobook experience of Soweto I invite you to be part of the love and humanity Soweto is . I am fortunate enough to have been born in Soweto—the home of our freedom charter but most of all allow you to be part of the writing of the now Sowetan history.Plus I use to be a Tour Guide in one of the greatest tour companies in Johannesburg Lebo's Soweto Back Packers.

This is a must-do if you are in Johannesburg. Ntsiki is such a knowledgeable and fun person to be around. We had a great personable time getting to know about the rich history of Soweto and South Africa as a country and it felt like spending a day with an old friend. You will not get the same experience without her!

The Soweto experience with Ntsiki was a highlight of our South Africa trip. Even though the Hector Pieterson Museum and the brewery were closed due to Covid-19, Ntsiki's incredible knowledge of the history of South Africa and her storytelling made an amazing experience. As a long-time resident of Soweto, she knows the ins and outs of the community and connected the course of history to the present day and the triumphs and struggles of Sowetans. I came back with a sense of appreciation for the courage and perseverance of generations of black South Africans.

Her tour is planned out very well and brings you through Soweto in a comfortable pace. This tour was a highlight for my visit here! I highly recommend it!

Ntsiki was such an amazing host I booked with her four times on my trip. Her knowledge, passion and personality are gravitating. You WILL know the real Soweto after touring with her. I felt like a Sowetan with her.
