What you'll do

First, I ask you your favorite 1-2 words in English. Then I write them in Japanese kanji on a paper as a model. Next You try calligraphy on a paper with reference to the model ,although You can write as You think. After that, I process it with plastic paper, Japanese pattern paper, Japanese code. Sachie is a very friendly host. She was very well prepared and flexible with our requests. We did not feel rushed and Sachie gave us the full hour, although my wife was a few minutes late. Highly recommended - great cultural experience. We never realized that Japanese calligraphy can be so fun and meditative at the same time. Thanks Sachie!

Pleasant experience in a mellow environment. Sachie is an experienced tutor in calligraphy who has helped me overcome some hurdles of bad habits and inexperience knowledge. Within an hour I have learned much and gain new found that insights. For an hour it’s totally worth it and more relaxed than in classes. I do recommend to try if you are interested about getting into more Zen cultures.
