What you'll do

Our day trip will take you on a special journey; we’re going to have fun, eat well, walk in the wild, and show you our favorite parts of the National Park. We keep our groups small; you may join a few other explorers (we limit our trips at ten guests) from all over the world. We’ll pick you up from downtown Seattle at a stop convenient to you, then we head for the mountain! We’ll stop along the way to stretch our legs and have a little breakfast, coffee and tea. In the National Park we’ll see giant old growth trees, icy waterfalls, and watch for elk, bears and birds. We’ll ditch the van to explore several mellow trails and share secrets of the volcano’s diverse ecosystems and wonder at some of the most pristine and stunning wilderness in the world. We’ll cater length and level of activity to the desires of the group. At the end of the day we’ll return you to your place in downtown Seattle!

Where you'll be

Our guides work closely with Mother Nature: Sunny? We take lots of pictures and walk through meadows of wildflowers! Rainy? Take shelter by walking beneath giant old trees and chase waterfalls! Snow? No problem, we’ll bring jackets and snowshoes. Some of our favorite places include: Christine Falls, Longmire and the Trail of Shadows, Paradise, Glacier Vista, and in the summer, Sunrise!

I had so much fun on this guided hike! Marty was such a informative guide and soo patient with me. The views were amazing! Like nothing I’ve ever experienced before and I’m grateful to have been apart of a spectacular trip with an awesome group and guide. Highly recommend and plan to do it again soon.

This is by far one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. It created a memory that will stay with my girlfriend and I for the rest of our lives. Our tour guide Marty was kind, knowledgeable, funny, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. He knows what the heck he’s doing. It’s hard to say what you’ll experience because the weather is constantly changing so there’s always something new to experience. If you’re coming to seattle on vacation don’t even hesitate on whether or not this is something you should do… Just do it! Thank you for the memories.

Marty was amazing! He makes it an amazing experience with his vast knowledge of all the trails, even when a majority of the park is shut down due to weather. It was a little difficult for us because we’ve never experienced snow, but with the right gear, it was an enjoyable experience.
