I have 18 years' experience of leading bike tours in the Burren, and have great knowledge of this incredibly beautiful limestone region: history, archaeology, flora and fauna, folklore and landscape. My electric bikes are the top of the range Kalkhoff pedelec pedal assist electric bikes. . The tour takes place on small quiet back roads with little or no traffic, but plenty of sights to see. And yes, there will be cows....and other animals to see along the route

This was the highlight of our trip so far. I was worried about being on a bike for so long but it was very comfortable and there were lots of breaks for stories, history and nature. A great experience!!

We throughly enjoyed our e-bike trip to some archaeological sites (Ringforts and Poulnabrone Dolmen). It was a fantastic experience. One of the best one day tour I had after coming to Ireland. Informative and scenic day tour. Janet Our guide is amazing, be it Irish history or geography she knows everything. My favourite part of the tour was when we went to see the glaciokarst landforms in Burren..It was a beautiful place to visit ! Janet is so patient and considerate. Thanks again for everything and 100% recommended. It is really a good activity for family and couples.

We had a magical day touring the Burren with Janet and everyone of our 6-person party enjoyed it. Janet took time to explain how the bikes operate which instilled confidence. Even a puncture en route was dealt with calmly and super efficiently and didn't spoil the experience. We saw some great sights, including a sheep herding demonstration! Janet explained the history, agriculture and flora/fauna along the route. We would all do it again.

Janet was a Burren expert! She shared facts and history that We never would have known had we explored by ourselves. The bikes were easy to ride, we had a lovely stop for lunch, and she let my husband ride in the van with her half the time since he was recovering from tonsillitis. Very cool experience!

I would absolutely recommend this bike tour to anyone in the area. Janet was able to accommodate my father and me after a kayaking excursion we had booked was canceled last minute. The bike trip saved the day as Janet was able took us both on a beautiful tour of the Burren countryside stopping all along the way to provide history and context for the area. It was just the two of us on the tour so we were able to go at our own pace, have a nice lunch, and still learn all about the biology of the Burren. Thanks Janet!
