Highly recommend this experience to visitors and indeed locals alike in Inisowen & Donegal. The location is superb and it is a balanced enough hike to allow for people of varying abilities. The coastline, hills and bogland walk has stunning with views across to Fanad lighthouse and beyond and down across the inlets, bays and hills of Urris, Mamore and the surrounding area. The beauty of this experience is that it is guided and shared and includes a richness of insight and detail of the history of the area and local events, flora, fauna and geology. Fabulous. I have no doubt that I gained much more from this guided experience than I would had I tackled the walk on my own. Sharon is clearly passionate and informed; she is a relaxed and experienced leader who provided great encouragement, a warm welcome, support and freedom during the experience from booking throughout to the conclusion. Sharon also has great connections and can link you into other areas and groups such that you can develop your ideas around hiking and plan new adventures. I was very appreciative and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. We had the opportunity of a sea swim to conclude at Lenan beach (that the walk overlooks) and this was an extra special ending. Fantastic .. a highlight to my time at Mamore Inisowen .. Thanks Sharon 😊😊
