Putu was the most incredible guide, he felt like a friend by the end of the trip. We took a few breaks up the mountain and chose to do the more difficult path. We are very familiar with hiking and this was no easy trek. Wear hiking shoes if you can! He took pictures with us, answered all of our questions and was so incredibly kind. This has been the coolest thing we’ve done in Bali so far. Don’t miss out on this trip. We were hesitant about the coffee plantation because a lot of touristy areas pressure people into buying things & we did not get that at all from the plantation. The coffees and teas were delicious and we ended up buying delicious coffee to take home without any pressure at all from the locals. It was just that good. Thank you Putu and to the company, this is certainly an experience we will not forget!

Our experience wasn’t very good , the trek up is fantastic except for the motorcycles coming up and down all the time . Our guide was more interested in other groups than ours , before getting to the top he told us that the top was crowded with other groups, which it was not at that time ! and didn’t give as the option to decide in any ways , he was hanging and chatting with others colleagues and people from others groups. We have little or not information about the crater, people from the village or what the caldera is . In the other hand the driver was 10 out of 10 , he told us a lot of about the village, the Religion and traditions in Bali , he turned our experience worth it .Thank you Gusti you save the day !!!

My friend and I had a great time with Komang. Just FYI, this hike is not easy, but definitely worth it!! There are 2 to 3 ways to get up the mountain. You can take the easy route by foot, but our tour guide warned us it would be packed and could become frustrating due to the crowds. You can take the easy route on a motor bike 😬. If you get too tired. Our guide suggested the hard route because it was less people and no motor bikes (less crowd). It was surely hard but the better and more natural experience for a hike. Even with multiple breaks, we got up the mountain with a lot of time left to see the sunrise. The breakfast was the perfect cultural Balinese breakfast and much needed fuel to hike back down. Komang knew the route very well and helped us up in some rough spots along the trail. My only suggestion is for the guide to give us a little history of the mountain/volcano once we reach the top so we can have some knowledge on the history. Overall a really good tour. My suggestion, take the harder route. You’ll get the true experience of the hike. Tips: make sure you have some good sneakers/boots. Eat a small snack before. HAVE FUN!! Enjoy yourself. We were sweaty and tired at times, but our guide had a great personality and was patient with our requests to rest. Hope this helps!

It’s a Company not a single private person. But that doesn’t really matter it was good. Experienced guides and driver. We left our luggage in the drivers car while waking the mountain without any problems. Nice sun raise. Remember to check the weather.
