What you'll do

After 450 tours with Airbnb, I selected a short but engaging Turin itinerary, with picturesque views, history and curious stories, from an insider's angle.

If you:
- enjoy exploring a city on your own but want to get the best tips from a LOCAL graduated expert who has been living in Turin for 44 years
- want to see unique spots that you wouldn't find otherwise, like the underground Turin
- have a certain budget but don't want to give up on doing a guided tour
- have little time to visit Turin and look for a PRIVATE last minute tour
- don't feel walking too long
- want to see the city at the best time for you

then I can't wait to show you my favorite part of Turin, where tourists normally don't go and where you'll see places you don't expect, that not even the Turinese really know. Together we'll learn so much in just 1 hour, promised!

I'll be at your complete disposal for any questions about Turin: what to visit, eat, transport, culture, language, to make your experience as useful as possible and to be able to move later independently in a big city like Turin.

My style's ironic, informal, friendly. Consider me your LOCAL FRIEND with whom you can also have fun (why not), not a guide!

THE SCHEDULE YOU SEE IS PURELY INDICATIVE!

I want to provide what I look for when I travel: good places to visit, good company and good memories! Consider me your LOCAL FRIEND, not a guide!

I was BORN and RAISED in Turin and am graduated in Art and Cinema History at the University. I am a teacher of Italian for foreigners and speak also French, Spanish and some Portuguese.

In 2010 I started to work for some relocation companies that support the expats in their "new life" in Turin and for several companies that provide language tutoring.

I'll be at your complete disposal for any questions you may have about Turin/Italy: what to visit, where to eat, transport, culture, language, etc. to make your experience perfect.

Where you'll be

We'll walk in the city center for 1 hour, in its most picturesque area, perfect for unique photos, privileging curious places, off the itineraries usually followed.

Time will fly by because the center offers so much to do and see; if you have the chance to take a longer tour (2 or more hours), please tell me before booking.

Turin's the third biggest city in Italy; in 1 hour we can't cover the whole city, but it will be an inspirational sample.

Definitely a nice experience. Saw places that we could have never seen alone. I would have appreciated a bit more context on the history of the city but overall I would recommend it.

It was a pleasure to meet Melissoula, she knows Torino not just from a story book but because her family is living there since ever. The one hour was full of old history and current culture. I loved it a lot :)

We travel a lot and frequently take tours. Melissoula wowed us with interesting facts and presentation! We highly recommend this tour and will hopefully be back in Turin to take a longer tour with her next time. Also, her English was very good - which we found was an issue in this region of Italy.

The tour with Melissoula was AMAZING! She showed us some exquisite parts of Torino and afterwards took us to a wonderful cafe where we enjoyed lunch together. This is definitely the best tour in Turin you do not want to miss it!!!
