I provide kayaking and trekking guide service on Iriomote Island, OKINAWA. I started with organic farming for 3 years on Iriomote before working as a kayaking and trekking guide in 2017. I launched my own tour company in 2020. I am a certified OMSB Lifeguard, JRCA kayak instructor and PADI Master Scuba Diver. My English level is upper intermediate.

I have lived in The Republic of Kiribati working as a High school computer teacher. I was impressed by their harmonious primitive life style. After that, I moved to Iriomote to follow in their path of harmony.

Where you'll be

- Large mangrove river. The river is very calm and easy to paddle.

- Local organic farm of rice, vegetables and eggs. I worked here for 1 year to learn organic farming.

- Path to the secret waterfall. There is beautiful scenery under a canopy of large jungle trees with a bed of moss covering everything and tropical plants hiding wildlife.

- Fine waterfall surrounded on all side by sheer cliffs falling into a small pool.

My son gives this a ten stars out of five, and has claimed it was the best day of his life. Everything really was exceptional! Kayaking through the mangroves was something out of a book, lunch was fresh and tasty, and the hike and waterfall were amazing. The hike has a lot of climbing, so you’ll need the felt shoes and a fair bit of flexibility and balance. But it’s worth it!

What a fantastic, one of a kind, private experience. Do keep in mind this tour is not for someone who needs to stay clean or doesn’t like to sweat. But if you are adventurous and outdoorsy looking for some nature this is great. We took our nine and 12 year old girls who had no problem. Takashi was helpful, polite and let us enjoy the experience thoroughly

Wow. This was a once in a lifetime experience. Our host, Takashi was absolutely amazing and knew the island very well. He made sure we had time to really soak in each location and relax. I truly believe you will not get this experience booking with a tour agency. I highly highly recommend you book this trip if you are coming to Iriomote Island. Everything was beyond perfect. He makes sure to get photos for you, he makes you lunch AND coffee or tea! Seriously, book this experience, you won't regret it!!

Wow is all I can say. This experience sounded amazing from the start but getting to be out on iriomote and experience nature in such a way was amazing. I loved that we were not rushed at all we were able to just sit back and enjoy nature at a nice leisurely pace. Takashi showed us around the island, the mangroves and a waterfall. He also made us soba and coffee which were both delicious. This is the best AirBnb experience I have ever been on and it made me fall in love with Iriomote. f you get the chance I HIGHLY recommend booking this tour.

カヤックやトレッキングでの暑さを滝でクールダウン、爽快でした!海があり、山がある西表島ならではの体験でした。食事を摂った素敵なビーチや、マングローブの森の生き物たちの話も印象に残っています。ありがとうございました!

Wow!! What a wonderful experience for my family and I! We have lived in Japan for almost 2 years and this is by far one of our favorite experiences! Tekashi picked us up from our air bnb and drove us to the various locations for the tour. My daughters (12 and 16) were able to control their kayak, hilariously, but they did it! We had a truly authentic experience, we picked vegetables from a farm for our authentic Okinawan soba cooked on the beach by our wonderful host. We took a 30 minutes hike to a waterfall from the farm and had just a wonderful time! We are so grateful for the pictures Tekashi took during our adventure, we will cherish these moments for a lifetime! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to have an authentic and truly magical Okinawan prefecture experience!
