What you'll do

This public tour takes place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11am.
It starts at the Copernicus Monument in the Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street, which is the Warsaw Royal Route.
I want to show you the Warsaw University campus, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the Pilsudski Square, the magnificent building of the hotels' Bristol and Europejski (probably the noblest hotels in the city) or the Holy Cross Church, where Chopin´s heart rests. And these are only a few of the attractions! There is much more to come and it is not only about the buildings, but about the life of the students, the blue and white collars or the homeless in Warsaw. I would like to show you all the different facets.
The walking tour ends on Castle Square, which is one of the highlights in Warsaw and the most beautiful square in the city. From here you can visit the Royal Castle and the Old Town. Around the square, you will find plenty of polish restaurants, bars and cafés.

----
I want to invite you to my other two public tours.
Warsaw Old Town begins at 2pm.
Warsaw Jewish Tour begins at 2 pm.
There is enough time between the tours to have a break or to go to a restaurant. The Old Town tour starts where the Royal Route tour ends (Castle Square).

My name is Antoni, I was born in Pyskowice (Poland), at the age of 5 my family emigrated to Germany, where I spent the next 23 years, and finally, in 2013, I moved to my beloved city and home - Warsaw.
In the same year, I became a professional licensed guide and set up my own tourist company Walking Poland. As a director of my own company and a trained guide, my passion became my work and since then I probably guided more than 10.000 tourists from all over the world.
Being often the first person the guests will talk to, I see myself as an ambassador of Warsaw. I feel responsible for how people see this city. All places have two faces: a beautiful and an ugly one and everybody have the right to see both of them. I am very passionate about Warsaw and I am happy to show my city to anybody willing to know and to understand it.

Where you'll be

The city spent the Middle Ages away from world events and it was only from the 17th century that Warsaw's great career began, which continues to this day. That is why the Royal Route, and not the Old Town, is the heart of the city. Chopin grew up on the Royal Route and the aristocrats built their palaces here. To understand Warsaw, it is best to start by exploring this part of the city.

Antoni is super great! The way he explains everything about this tour was on point and we really enjoyed every single minute. I can't ask for a more better tour guide! Thanks Antoni and hope to see you around when we are back in Warsaw!

We had a great tour with a very small group which made it much more personal. we could chat and ask questions and learn much more about Warsaw than the ordinary historical guided tours. Antoni was very friendly and willing to give us more recommendations even after the tour ended.

Antoni was an awesome tour guide. He made sure we knew where to meet up the day before and offered a lot of great tid bits on the city. He also helped offer suggestions on places to eat, what to visit, and what is/isn’t touristy. Would recommend!
