➀♨You need to prepare♨
Kitchen equipment: wok, shovel, kitchen knife, chopping board, rolling pin(or drinking glass without handle)
wheat flour 200g(if you don't find it you can use All purpose flour ,not the self rising one), water 60g, egg 1
Pork stuffing (or chicken stuffing/beef stuffing/lamb stuffing) 200g, vegetarian please prepare mushroom slices 200g
Sauces: vegetable oil, soybean paste, light soy sauce, cooking wine(or beer),sugar 15g, salt 20g, spring onions 10g, minced garlic 10g, 3 slices of ginger
Side dishes (choose 1-2 kinds, the total weight does not exceed 300g): vegetables that can be eaten raw, such as cucumber/carrot/cabbage
Optional: 1 anise, dark soy sauce, sesame sauce/tahini (or peanut butter)

You can choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and then follow the instructions, if possible, please complete the washing of vegetables before the start of the experience. I will synchronize with you. Don’t worry if you don’t prepare the ingredients in advance, I will show you how to make the fried noodles until the finished product.

What a great experience making Beijing Style Noodles and Soy Bean Paste! Mr. Jai and his daughters were fantastic and it felt like I were in their kitchen. The sauce and the noodles were delicious!

This time I made Mala xiangguo (mala spicy stir fry) and egg-and-tomato traditional dish. Both dishes turned out wonderfully and delicious. Keyi’s father really can teach how to cook meat so it stays tender. Sometimes classes take a long time, but Keyi is very attentive and cares about the details. And in the end the flavorful dishes are a wonderful reward!

Learn a new way to cook dumplings. Jade dumplings are a traditional rite of spring for the family . You can prepare vegan as well as meat fillings and learn about Chinese methods and culture.

Great experience with a delicious meal at the end. Mr. Jai and his daughters Keyi were wonderful in class. Very helpful with questions leading up to the experience and during the experience. This was my second class with them and I hope to take another class with them in the future.

I learned two wonderful Sichuan classics: Kung pao chicken and Mapo tofu. The flavors turned out superb! I did these two classes back to back, and might consider in the future to do them on separate dates, because there are many steps involved! But they made for a wonderful meal, the chicken was super tender (Keyi’s dad will show you the secret to making tender chicken) and I am glad I have the skills to make these again in the future !

Well, where to start, her and her dad are great and very friendly. They will spend time explaining to you what you don't understand. Her dad is a 40 year veteran in the Beijing cuisine scene, and makes everything look easy, at least it did for me. Highly recommend.
