What you'll do

Our tour will walk past the great sites of the city, the ones everyone knows and loves, and then, take a few turns on less known streets. You'll find here hidden Roman archaeological remains, breathtaking historical monuments, and even some of the most popular local bakeries and beer halls. To the untrained eye Cologne is a busy, fun, modern city. But we will focus on small architectural details that hide fascinating stories of war, competition between cities, religion and customs. I will also make sure you do not leave the tour without seeing some of the coolest postmodern art installations, the kind of installations that some people only see in their university books, or on the news. During our time together I like to build a small community. After all, we have lots in common: new to the city, excited and eager to see, learn and have fun. I am looking forwards to swapping travel stories, and a joke or two.
Other things to note
Dress according to the weather please.

My first tour was well over 10 years ago, in a small European town, and since then, my love for history, culture, and European travels have lead me to become a tour guide in 3 additional cities. I have designed my tours as a taster of the city you are visiting, starting with a strong background of history and culture, then sprinkling in anecdotes and a little comedy, to make the time go faster. Before you know it, the tour is over, you have learned a lot and laughed even more, made even made some friends. My tour style is informative yet untraditional and alternative.

Those NYC big comedy venues didn't trusted me with a microphone, so I took my act to the streets, in these walking comedy shows.

Interesting tour with a nice guide and only 6 people. She told us also a lot of fun facts and side stories. A bit cold and wet due to the rain but that isn't her fault of course.
